This is the first of many my friends, and a fun blog this shall be!
This blog is dedicated to game designers of all skill levels and is meant for creative designers to express their design ideas. By coming up with a new design every day I personally hope to strengthen my skills as a designer, as well as be inspired by yours!
The Rules:
Constructive criticism only. Your reputation is practically permanent.
Each Daily will have one criteria that must be met.
Each Daily should start with the Designer's name (or alias), and the desired platform for their Idea.
Each Daily.... Wait that's it :). Have fun and get designing! Keep posts brief and share links for anything that exceeds comment space! You don't have to get super geeky with any of these challenges if you don't want to. If you have a criteria that you think would be fun and challenging to design around, just suggest it in the comments!
Have fun!
Today's Game Design Daily criteria:
Design a team based multiplayer game, that has absolutely no combat. Nothing dies, no one re-spawns.
3, 2, 1, Design!

Title: Must Build Faster!
Must Build Faster is a multiplayer time trial building game where players team up competitively to build structures in a side scrolling 2.5D playground.
Each time starts with the same schematic that they must build before the other team. Teams can hold down Shift, Left Trigger or L2 at any time to see the other teams progress. Each player on your team starts with a random piece that everyone on your team can see. Teammates can also see where they are about to place a piece. Teammates must communicate with each other through text or voice chat to successfully complete their build.
Game modes include:
Build faster - teams compete to complete the same schematic faster than each other, starting from the bottom up. The team that gets the farthest % through their build wins.
Demolish faster - teams must destroy a tall structure by hitting button combinations as fast as possible, first team to the bottom wins.
Build Fast Faster - both teams race to complete one huge build. No time limit first to finish wins.
bridge the gap faster- both teams have a randomized start and end point and must do whatever they have to, to bridge the gap between the start and end point.
The entire game is randomized. Players will experience randomly generated content over and over again with their friends. MBF is a cartoon styled silly game that's sure to entertain you and your friends for hours.
Nice. I think it would be really interesting to see this play out if the players had no means of communication.
DeleteDo the players have an avatar that they are controlling or are you manipulating it via drag and drop tools?
I was actually invisioning it a lot like a mixture of Tetris and 4 player terraria. And Worms.

Start a match by choosing your squirrel. Pick between different costumes and types of squirrels. Then enter the game. You play on a team of 2-5 against another team of squirrels. Start at your home tree. The Object of the game is to get as many nuts as you can back to your home.
The map is small, and the amount of nuts quickly turns to very few. Use agility and speed to run through trees, jump from limb to limb, and scamper on the ground. When you find a nut you have to be careful not to fumble and watch other for other squirrels that might intercept it. Pass around to team mates and throw it into your home to score a point. Whoever scores the most points wins!

Two teams compete. Team 1 starts at a rally point and has x seconds to get into a position of there choice. Then Team 2 spawns anywhere on the map. Team 1's goal is to reach a set destination without being caught. Team 2's goal is to catch all of Team 1. A player is caught when a member of Team 2 is close enough, and has sight of there face. This means that team 1 has to use stealth to make it through the course.
Some levels will be in a public setting, where you can use disguises and distractions to help you. You can jump, duck, take cover, climb, or tip toe your way around.
